How to Buy ?
How do I place an order?
All my available prints are listed on Etsy. Payment and shipment methodes are handled on there. If the print is not there, it is sold out. You can let me know via a message through Etsy or by mail that you can't go on in life without that print, because on occasion I reprint a design and I could let you know first.
My Original Drawings are only listed on this website. If you're interested in one of these, send me an email, and I will give you more information and photos of the drawing, price and shipment costs.

How can I follow my shipment ?
If you've placed an order through my Etsy shop and have questions on that shipment, reach out via the confirmation mail you've got from Etsy, so it'll all be registered there.
lf you've placed an order directly with me, through this website, you will receive an email confirmation from me with all details of the carrier, the shipment and a track and trace code. If you have questions, reply to that email. In the Netherlands and Europe I ship with POSTNL (TNT), for the rest of the world I ship with Fedex.

All items are shipped in a water proof, cellophane bag - on top of  a recycled grey board backing &  send in a flat, super strong, card board enveloppe.
What are the delivery times?
I pack and ship new orders between 1-3 working days after placing the order. Below are the delivery times per country or region (this is excluding packing time).
the Netherlands 1-3 days / Rest of Europe 2-6 days / Rest of world 3- 12 days

Are there extra costs for an international shipment?
When a package ships internationally, it may be subject to import taxes, customs duties, and/or fees imposed by the destination country. These charges are typically due once the package arrives in the destination country. If you purchase directly from me, I will give you al information in the invoice before you purchase the item(s). If you purchase through my Etsy Shop you will see at checkout the exact costs.
To explain some things a bit more, below is some more information:
Shipments within the Netherlands (not international)
I am located in Helmond. So if you are located in the Netherlands too, there is no international shipment and no extra costs. The VAT (BTW, either 21% or 9% for items labelled as Art) is - as normal - mentioned on the invoice.
Shipments within the EU
VAT is applicable, no extra costs for shipment
Customs duty is not applied on goods sold within the EU.  This means you are not charged extra on your purchased price. VAT is applicable (unless you are a business with VAT registration & the sale is B2B). Depending on your location the VAT may vary which might alter the registered price. When you buy through my Etsy shop and Etsy knows your location or you fill in your location at checkout you will see the applicable VAT before your purchase the item. There are no extra costs after you have done the purchase.
Shipments in Europe (not EU)
VAT is applicable, Extra fees/taxes/duty for shipment is included in the shipping price.
If you live in Norway or Switzerland, or any country within Europe that is not part of the EU, if you buy from my Etsy Shop the applicable VAT and any extra fees will show at checkout. You should not be charged with any fees after you've purchased the item(s).
Shipments to the UK
VAT varies, extra duties for shipments might be applicable
if you want to purchase an item in my Etsy shop and the total price for your order is under £135, the exact VAT on that order and any additional custom fees will be calculated at check out. You should not be charged with any fees after you've purchased the item.
If you're order is above £135, there is no VAT on your order at checkout, yet the UK government is responsible for collecting their VAT, on any order, and has to charge you with this (mostly upon delivery). There can be an extra fee added for handling this.
Shipments to the USA
0% VAT, Extra fees/taxes/duty for shipment is applicable
Items shipped to the USA are sold with a 0% VAT charge. You will see these adjusted prices in the listings of my Etsy shop when Etsy knows your location or if you fill this in at checkout. When goods are shipped into the US, the buyer (“Importer”) is responsible for any fees/taxes/duty that may accrue on the merchandise when it clears Customs and Border Protection (“CBP”). If any duty is owed, a processing fee could be charged to the buyer by CBP or the carrier/postal operator for clearing the package.  Packages whose declared value is under $800 will generally be cleared without any additional paperwork prepared by CBP.  Either you're requested to pay while your package it a customs or you will receive an invoice upon delivery.
Shipments to the rest of the world
The buyer is generally responsible for paying custom duties and the applicable VAT, usually on receipt of the package. This means you are sold the item with 0& VAT. Yet if you buy through my Etsy shop, in some countries Etsy is responsible for collecting the VAT or similar tax on the sale of goods on the Etsy platform. If so this will be shown at checkout. If you have any questions on this, do reach out first.
How can I return my item ?
I want you to be happy with your purchase, so if you're not. You can return the item. Just reply to your order confirmation email (either from Etsy or from me if you bought directly through my website),  and you will receive the instructions and shipment orders to send your item back. After I've received the item you'll receive your refund within 14 working days.
Do take into account: that any shipping costs (for the order & return) are not refunded. These costs will be subtracted from your refund first, before you'll receive the remaining amount.
(Screen)Prints
What is a screen print ?
Screen printing is a printing technique that forces ink through a fine mesh stencil (the “screen”) onto a a flat surface - paper, textile, wood. Each color is mixed and printed separately. So if a design has 4 colours, I hand print each colour separately with a different stencil. On the stencil is (part of) my drawing that all have the same colour. Because each print is hand made, there are small imperfections and irregularities on each print, which is part of the beauty of print making.
What  are the care instructions for prints?
Inks I use for screen printing are light fast, which means they do not fade, like a regular poster does. However, sunlight will destroy all things, no matter what ink or paint you use. So prints are best kept out of direct sunlight, framed and preferable with a passe-partout - this lets the paper breath behind the glass. Regular glass will do for my screen prints.
